NES Fircroft are supporting our O&G client, with a new project in North Wales, and looking for a Civil QC Inspector.
This will be a long term project (approx 2 years) on a rolling 12 month contract, and will be an onsite position, 5.5 days per week (Mon to Fri, plus Sat morning).
As Civil QC Inspector, you will report to the Quality Control manager and execute the specific inspections on material, equipment, steel structures, construction/installation activities and HVAC on site, in accordance with the QC Plan.
Additional responsibilities:
Follow relevant specified procedures, issue the relevant Quality Records and write non-conformances reports for the Quality Control Supervisor
Verify the correct preparation of foundations and reinforcements
Monitor atmospheric conditions during pouring operations and correct curing operations
Check the certifications regarding element mixes, chemical analysis, grain size analysis, sampling operations
Review the laboratory examination results, sub-grade dry density, moisture content, compression strength test, execution of casting, concrete pouring, materials quality (wire, fitting, etc.)
Collect and manage documents certifying test, controls and inspection documents
Ensure that all civil works and testing related records are properly retrievable within the final As- Built dossier
In case of subcontractor activities, ensure the correct implementation of the approved QC/ Inspection Test Plans, witnessing inspection and collecting relevant Quality Control records
Ensure the conformity with the Quality Control Plan and obtain the relevant documentation
