Job Description
Chalk Hill Group are supporting an established SME, based in Basingstoke, in their search for a hands-on Finance Manager on a 6 month basis to support a busy finance function within a small, collaborative team. Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll play a key role in financial processing, reporting, and analysis. There will be an expectation to be in the office two days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and issue accurate invoices
* Review customer contracts for correct financial treatment
* Conduct cost centre analysis and monitor performance
* Manage purchase ledger and supplier reconciliations
* Handle credit control and maintain cash book
* Support preparation of management accounts to trial balance
* Use Xero for daily accounting and reporting
* Provide financial insights to senior leadership
Skills & Experience:
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Solid understanding of accounting principles
* Experience with Xero or similar systems
* Good analytical and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

SALARY: £45,000 - £55,000
