International Student Support Officer [Ref: WC4176]

£26,431 - £26,972 per annum; 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year


Overview

We're looking for an International & Accommodation Student Support Officer to work within our busy International team across the Chichester College Group, predominantly based at our Worthing College campus. This role plays a key part in ensuring our international and accommodated students feel supported, safe and able to succeed.


Responsibilities

* Provide day‑to‑day support to international students with enquiries, welfare and wellbeing concerns.
* Collaborate with the Accommodation team, Pastoral Support Tutors and wider college staff to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
* Manage own workload, respond proactively to student needs and liaise with staff, parents, agents and host providers.
* Relocate to the Chichester Campus during summer months to support the international summer school.
* Travel to other campuses across the College Group as required.


Qualifications

* Previous experience working in a customer‑focused or student‑support environment.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Comfortable with Microsoft Office and capable of handling a range of administrative and pastoral responsibilities.
* Confidence in managing workload independently.
