Are you a dedicated and nurturing individual with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? An outstanding primary school in South Woodford is seeking a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and provide 1:1 support for a child with complex needs.
About the Role:
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Full-time)
Location: South Woodford, London
Start Date: As soon as possiable
You will be supporting a primary-aged child who:
Has mobility challenges
Requires personal care support
Needs a calm, patient and consistent adult to help them access learning and feel safe and included

What We’re Looking For:
Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly those with physical and communication needs
A caring and respectful approach to personal care and physical support
Strong communication skills, including non-verbal strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or visual timetables (desirable but not essential – training can be provided)
Reliability, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families
