Lecturer in Music – Creative and Service Industries Faculty – Paignton, Devon.
Salary
£29,978 to £38,664 per annum, plus excellent benefits.
Contract
Fixed‑term contract until 30th August 2027. 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Role Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver teaching, including tutorials and instrumental support, and assess learners’ progress.
* Develop, manage and review programmes and curriculum, including learning resources and data/statistics.
* Maintain quality standards: contribute to quality assurance, self‑assessment and improvement planning; ensure compliance with awarding body requirements.
* Provide learner support and welfare: guidance, discipline, additional support needs and safe working practices.
* Undertake professional and administrative duties: CPD/research and teamwork, admissions/marketing activities, and required course administration.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proficient musician with experience teaching levels 1 to 3 across contemporary music provision.
* Holder of a degree or vocational qualification with evidence of ongoing professional development.
* Keen motivator able to develop effective relationships with students and staff.

Conditions of Employment
