About The Role

Location: Homebased - you will live in the Northamptonshire area and be able to travel throughout independently.

Contract: 30 hour part time role.

Alzheimer's Society Local Services teams provide exceptionally high standard, individualised support, information, advice and guidance for individuals and families affected by dementia. As an Alzheimer's Society Local Services Manager, you are the main contact of the Society in Northamptonshire, leading and inspiring a geographically dispersed team, whilst working as part of a wider Area Management Team, to deliver these vital services. Your remit will primarily be as an operational leader, managing our dementia support services within integrated care services. You will build upon existing relations and partnerships with external stakeholders, including both Local Authorities, health, social care and VSCE colleagues. Internally, you will lead and manage your teams to deliver dementia support services that are of the highest standard, compliant and as effective and efficient as possible for maximum impact. As a manager, you will live the Society's values and behaviours and inspire your teams to do the same.

You will:

* Be optimistic, engaging, with great attention to detail.
* Understand the need to build high performing teams, with great team spirit and a collaborative approach.
* Have experience of working from home and/or in the community, and be confident in building relationships and team engagement through both virtual and face to face team activity.
* Live within the relevant Integrated Care System boundary for the job and be passionate about making a difference for people affected by dementia.
* Have great interpersonal skills and as an operational leader, understand the opportunities and challenges of leading service delivery, monitoring data and trends and ensuring quality standards are realised.
* Experience of working in a dementia related role is not essential; however, an understanding of the health and care sector, either through work or personal lived experience is essential.
* Experience of delivering services, coaching and developing others, and the right attributes are key. Commitment to building inclusive services, ensuring equity and valuing diversity.
