Banana Moon Colchester is recruiting for a Nursery Room Leader.
As a Nursery Practitioner Room Leader, your key responsibilities include:
* Planning the curriculum with your team in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
* Providing a warm, caring atmosphere for children.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting the management in leading the team.
* Supporting the operation of nursery facilities to ensure high-quality education and care.
* Ensuring adherence to Banana Moon policies, legislative requirements, and educational standards to achieve excellent inspection outcomes.
* Training, mentoring, and supervising staff to promote best practices.
* Creating a safe, welcoming environment where children can thrive and parents feel confident entrusting their children.
* Promoting the nursery's reputation through community engagement and excellent customer service.
* Acting as a designated co-ordinator relevant to your skills, as assigned by the Nursery Manager.
Available full-time schedules include:
* 10-hour shifts
* 8-hour shifts
* Day shifts, Monday to Friday
* Overtime and weekend availability
Nursery Practitioner responsibilities include:
* Safeguarding children and supervising them at all times.
* Building strong partnerships with parents and providing feedback on children's progress.
* Taking on key worker duties, observing and planning for children's needs, and delivering stimulating activities.
* Tracking progress using our Parent App.
* Adhering to nursery policies and procedures.
