Overview
We are seeking experienced and motivated Electrician's Mates / Improvers to join a 12‑month mechanical & electrical (M&E) fit‑out project on high‑spec office blocks in the Tadley area (near Reading). This is an excellent opportunity to work with a skilled team of tradespeople and support delivery of a major commercial fit‑out project.
Responsibilities
* Assist qualified electricians with installation, termination, routing, and testing of electrical systems in an office fit‑out environment
* Handle cable pulling, conduit installation, fixing trunking, mounting equipment, and general site clean‑up and preparation tasks
* Work effectively within the M&E team to meet project deadlines and maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
* Comply with all site health, safety, and quality requirements
* Participate in induction trade test and follow site rules and instructions
Essential Requirements
* Valid ECS Card (or equivalent)
* PASMA and IPAF certifications
* Own hand tools
* Must hold or be able to obtain DBS check, followed by BPSS clearance prior to start
* Must drive or be able to car‑share to site (no public transport near this location)
* Successful completion of a Trade Test as part of the site induction
Preferred Attributes
* Previous experience in commercial M&E fit‑out projects
* Good physical fitness and ability to follow instructions and work at height / in confined spaces (as required)
* Strong team‑working ethic and willingness to learn and improve "on the go"
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a tidy and safe work environment
