Salary: £23,618 Point 8 (£26,343 per annum, pro rata) Contract: Term time plus 10 days Hours: 8.30am – 4.30pm (M-F 5 days) Winstanley College is seeking a Media and Film Technician t o support our thriving Faculty of Creative and Performing Arts. The role involves providing high-quality technical support across Media, Film Studies and T Level Media and Broadcasting, working in industry-standard facilities including TV studios, editing suites, podcasting studios and performance spaces. Key responsibilities supporting staff and students with media and film equipment and software managing the safe storage, maintenance and issuing of equipment providing in-class technical support and troubleshooting supporting Winstanley TV, podcasting and film projects filming and editing content for curriculum, enrichment and assessments supporting health and safety requirements, including risk assessments About you You will be organised, technically confident, and able to work calmly to deadlines. Experience in a similar role and/or within an education setting is desirable. An enhanced DBS check is required.
