* Job Title: Primary Teacher
* Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
* Location: New Barn School, Newbury, Berkshire, RG20 8HZ
* Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
* Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm, including one 5pm finish

Due to growth, we are recruiting a Primary Teacher for New Barn School in Newbury.

Job Summary and Duties
As a Primary Teacher at New Barn School, you will deliver engaging, educational activities tailored to each pupil to ensure positive results. The role is challenging yet rewarding, requiring a dynamic approach to make a real difference. You will lead and coordinate flexible, person-centered programs of study for individuals and groups, demonstrating a practical, hands-on teaching approach and willingness to go above and beyond for the young people supported.
Duties Will Include:
* Teaching a variety of subjects
* Preparing, planning, and assessing lessons, keeping up with curriculum developments
* Writing and implementing individual education plans, assessing attainment, and setting achievable targets
* Building relationships with pupils to encourage interest and participation
* Creating a stimulating environment outside the formal classroom to promote learning
Key Skills Required:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching a range of primary subjects at a good or outstanding level
* Knowledge of current education practices, curriculum, and policies
* Experience working within an SEN setting, supporting pupils with challenging behaviors (SEMH/EBD)
