The role:
You will support a broad range of assignments, including:
* Pre-lending reviews
* Financial due diligence
* Independent Business Reviews (IBRs)
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in the preparation of buy-side financial due diligence reports
* Analysing management accounts, financial data, and broader market context
* Identifying trends, variances, and key business drivers
* Assessing business performance, financial health, and strategic positioning
* Performing sensitivity analysis on forecasts to evaluate risks and opportunities
* Producing clear, insight-led IBR reports with actionable recommendations
* Presenting findings to stakeholders including lenders, investors, and management teams
* Supporting clients in implementing recommendations and monitoring outcomes
* Building strong, trusted client relationships
* Collaborating with colleagues across advisory disciplines
* Working closely with senior stakeholders, including Partners, on live engagements
Skills /Experience required:
* Qualified ACA / ACCA (or equivalent)
* Background in audit, transaction services, or advisory
* Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
* Understanding of UK SME lending and debt structures (or a desire to develop this)
* Ability to translate financial data into clear, commercial insight
* A genuine interest in how businesses operate beyond the numbers
