They are seeking a dynamic Production Senior Supervisor to drive operational excellence and lead our dedicated production team. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership: Ensure seamless day-to-day operations to fulfil customer orders on time and to specification. Oversee production planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring workflow to meet KPIs. Troubleshoot equipment issues, coordinate repairs, and evaluate new techniques to optimize efficiency. Health, Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health & safety protocols, including PPE usage, food safety standards, and hygiene practices. Conduct risk assessments, deliver safety training, and ensure all staff complete mandatory H&S inductions. Maintain hygiene across production areas and external zones, adhering to regulatory requirements. Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and train a diverse production team, fostering a culture of accountability and growth. Manage recruitment, performance reviews, absence, and disciplinary processes as needed. Develop and implement training programs (e.g., work instructions, training matrices) to upskill staff. Continuous Improvement: Analyze production data, identify losses, and implement solutions to boost productivity. Revise systems, procedures, and record-keeping practices to enhance operational efficiency. Support trials of new equipment, processes, or production methods. Administration & Reporting: Compile and analyze shift production summaries, reporting on KPIs, issues, and progress. Manage labor resources to ensure optimal staffing levels and cost-effective operations. Cover managerial duties during the General Manager’s absence. Essential Skills & Experience Proven supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing environment (training provided for gaps). Strong people management skills with the ability to lead, delegate, and resolve conflicts. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook for data analysis and communication. Flexibility to work 48 hours/week across 6 days, including manual tasks and shift rotations. Experience in food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and managing hygiene protocols.
