We are recruiting for a Support Worker to join our lovely team on a part-time, permanent basis based in the Penrith area. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £14.65 per hour weekdays, £15.66 per hour weekends. The Support Worker Role: An additional support worker is required for a gentleman in his early 70’s living independently in the Penrith area. The gentleman has an acquired brain injury, is mobile with a walking stick and has mild to moderate cognitive impairment. The successful applicants will be responsible for supporting the client and promoting independence. Tasks will include helping with household chores, personal care, shopping, giving medication and going out in the local community for short walks and taking the client out in his car to local cafés and places of interest.
