Join our team at Eaton as an Electronic Test Engineer and contribute to innovative power management solutions worldwide. We are seeking a candidate with experience in complex electronic assembly testing, diagnostics, and maintenance of test equipment, including familiarity with NI hardware and software such as C/C++, TestStand, and LabVIEW. The role involves supporting test equipment commissioning, developing testing strategies, designing test rigs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute complex electronic assembly tests and diagnostics in the plant.
* Support maintenance and commissioning of custom test equipment.
* Collaborate with engineering to develop cost-effective testing strategies.
* Design and maintain test rigs for PCBs.
* Deploy and support test solutions in manufacturing.
* Create specifications and statements of work for test equipment procurement.
* Review and maintain test hardware and software during production.
* Document processes and train production personnel on new test equipment.
* Ensure all test equipment meets safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in test engineering involving software and hardware.
Skills:
* Understanding of analog and digital circuits, fault diagnosis.
* Experience with ICT, Flying Probe, HV, and Final Product Testing systems.
* Proficiency in NI TestStand, LabVIEW, C/C++, LabWindows CVI.
* Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and time management skills.
* Knowledge of SQL/MySQL databases.
* Continuous improvement mindset, with possible Six Sigma background.
