Job Title: SEND Cover Supervisor
Area: Rochdale, Manchester
Start Date: Monday 23rd February 2026 or ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive £110-£150 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Are you confident managing a classroom and passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We’re looking for a committed SEN Cover Supervisor to join a supportive specialist school setting where every child is given the opportunity to thrive.
About the role:
This role involves delivering pre-set work across a range of subjects, maintaining a calm and inclusive learning environment, and managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies. You’ll work closely with SEN teachers and support staff to ensure learners feel safe, engaged, and understood.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Experience working in SEND or specialist school settings
2. Confidence in managing a classroom and supporting students with EHCPs
3. A calm, adaptable approach with strong behaviour management skills
4. An understanding of supporting pupils with autism, complex needs, or physical disabilities
5. A passion for inclusive education and promoting student independence
To be eligible you must:
6. Hold Right to Work in the UK
7. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
8. Provide two professional child related references
