Workshop Manager
Cheltenham – Up to £60,000 per year.
Key Details
* Location: Cheltenham
* Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum
* Working hours: Monday – Friday day shift pattern
* Annual leave: 33 days (including bank holidays)
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of 10 multi‑skilled engineering colleagues to ensure smooth operation of the workshop.
* Maximise productivity and service delivery while providing strong leadership and guidance.
* Oversee maintenance of heavy/commercial vehicles and ensure compliance with DVSA standards.
* Coordinate training and career progression opportunities for the team.
* Collaborate with the Area Engineering Manager and depot leadership team.
Qualifications & Experience
* In‑depth knowledge of heavy/commercial vehicle maintenance.
* Strong understanding of DVSA standards.
* Experience in similar management or supervisory roles within the transport sector.
* Excellent communication and team‑leadership skills.
