What you’ll lead
* A site‑wide safety vision that aligns with our global H&S ambitions.
* Maintain a robust auditing system to ensure risks are controlled and improvement areas identified.
* Behavioural safety programmes that genuinely shift mindsets.
* High‑quality investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Fire protection, contractor management, and compliance across a complex industrial and port‑based environment.
* Engagement across departments, functions, and global EHS networks.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
* Support Plaistow site during absences or incidents.
* Build strong partnerships across operations, commercial teams, and global EHS networks.
* Provide regular safety performance reports to regional and corporate EHS leaders.
* Ensure group standards are embedded locally.
* Collaborate with the Environment Manager—covering each other when needed.
