About the person you will suppor t:
The person you will be supporting is a 23-year-old female living in her own home in Woodley, Reading. She is supported on a 2:1 support ratio and is looking for team members who can motivate, encourage and enable her to live her very best life.
Lillie has a real love for animals and would like her team to support her to do things that would incorporate this passion within her activity schedule. She is an active teenager & enjoys all the things that teenagers like to do, Cinema, swimming, having her hair & nails done and shopping for new clothes. She can make herself snacks such as scrambled eggs, however, requires verbal prompts with cooking, cleaning her home, and shopping.
Friends and family are very important to Lillie, and she really enjoys spending time with them and talking about them with her Team members.
Lillie has a diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism, Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Anxiety Disorders. We are therefore looking for team members who have existing experience within these areas, and who are motivated and assertive in their approach to help support Lillie, especially when she is feeling anxious. Lillie can struggle to engage socially and at times can respond to situations that confuse her, through a variety of behaviours that can be harmful to herself and others. Team members need to be kind & caring but also, they must be confident & resilient in maintaining boundaries.
