Data Scientist - Anti‑Piracy

Overview
We’re seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our Group Anti‑Piracy team and help protect our content by building machine learning models that drive business impact.
Responsibilities
* Partner with fellow data scientists to identify opportunities where ML/AI can enhance insights and decision‑making.
* Perform in‑depth analysis of complex, large‑scale datasets using statistical and modelling techniques to generate actionable insights.
* Build, test, and refine machine learning models in Python using advanced libraries and cloud platforms (GCP).
* Optimize models for predictive accuracy and performance, ensuring suitability for product integration and evaluation against key metrics.
* Stay current with advances in data science and AI to identify new applications.
* Communicate technical concepts, methodologies, results, and predictions clearly to senior leadership and non‑technical stakeholders.
* Maintain reproducible model‑building workflows, document experimental designs, and track model lineage and performance.
Qualifications
* Proven experience building ML models, preferably NLP and computer vision.
* Expertise in Python, SQL, and common data science libraries (Pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, etc.).
* Experience with communication network data, especially CDN logs.
* Strong knowledge of statistics, algorithms and data modelling.
* Ability to derive actionable insights from analysis.
* Excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, and awareness of ethics and bias.
