Warehouse Operative - Alton
We are currently seeking an experienced Production Operative to join one of our valued clients based in Alton. This is a fantastic ongoing opportunity, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
Key Details Of The Role:
* Location: Alton
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30am - 16:00pm
* Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
* Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
* Picking, packing, and preparing printed materials for dispatch
* Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
* Organising and maintaining warehouse stock and storage areas
* Ensuring goods are stored correctly and labelled accurately
* Assisting with goods-in and goods-out processes
* Carrying out deliveries of goods using a company van
* Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues promptly
* Ensuring the vehicle is kept clean, organised, and roadworthy
* Ensuring all goods are handled with care to maintain quality standards
Requirements:
* Forklift license is beneficial but not essential.
* Previous experience in van driving
* Previous experience working within a printing company is beneficial
* Strong warehouse experience is required
* Full UK driving licence (clean or minimal points preferred)
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
