Customer Support Assistant

We’re looking for a Customer Support Assistant to play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer journey. From onboarding through to ongoing account management, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring our customers feel supported, valued, and heard.
This role is perfect for someone with strong communication skills, a genuine passion for customer care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
What you’ll do
As a Customer Support Assistant, you’ll:
* Act as a brand ambassador, delivering outstanding service across multiple channels including phone, email, and (in future) webchat or social platforms.
* Provide clear, professional support for all customer queries, ensuring first-point resolution wherever possible.
* Build trust and rapport with customers, identifying and tailoring support for vulnerable customers.
* Manage core processes such as product transfers, redemptions, and additional payments with accuracy and efficiency.
* Liaise with internal teams and external partners on property or legal queries.
* Ensure all communications and documentation meet regulatory and service-level standards.
* Handle payments and reconciliations with precision and care.
* Promote improvements to customer-facing processes and share feedback to enhance the customer experience.
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone who brings:
* Previous customer service experience, ideally within financial services.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide real-time solutions.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* Confidence in handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
* A proactive, customer-first attitude with the ability to manage complaints effectively.
* Team spirit, professionalism, and adaptability.
Essential qualifications
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
