As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you’ll play a key part in ensuring vehicles are costed accurately and efficiently, supporting smooth site operations and maintaining our reputation for high-quality customer service.
Responsibilities of a Vehicle Damage Assessor will include:
* Producing accurate estimates and invoices to meet repair timelines and partner SLAs
* Managing repair costs and ensuring profitability
* Supporting the site with assessments, total loss cases, and repair methodology reviews
* Ensuring all work complies with BS10125 standards
* Liaising with customers, insurers, and internal teams to deliver a seamless process
* Identifying and reporting any losses or issues that impact quality or margin
Skills and experience required as a Vehicle Damage Assessor:
We’re after someone who combines technical know-how with attention to detail and great communication:
* Strong technical understanding of body & paint repair
* Proven experience in vehicle estimating
* Confident using Audatex, Glassmatix, and related systems
* Familiarity with E-scribe, Ezi Methods, and Glass's Evaluator
* Audatex Gold training or equivalent experience
* ATA accreditation (or willingness to achieve it)
* A team player with a can-do attitude and a solutions-focused approach
* Organised, methodical, and customer-service driven
