Overview
We are looking for an experienced supervisor or assistant manager with hospitality or contract catering background to join us as Assistant Cafe Manager at the RAF London, Hendon. As the Assistant Cafe Manager, you will assist with leading the cafe operation on site, oversee day-to-day activities, and consistently deliver a high standard of service to guests.
Responsibilities
* Ensure all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
* Supervise a cafe team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
* Use the till, take orders and receive payments
* Complete weekly finance tasks and collaboratively assist the General Manager with duties and queries
* Assist with cafe rostas following the General Manager's guidelines
* Place orders for stock to maintain correct stock levels
* Delegate where necessary and ensure the team are proactive
* Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
* Comply with Health & Safety regulations
Qualifications
* Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar retail cafe environment
* Good communication skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
* Team player with a can-do attitude
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
* Outstanding communication skills with guests, staff and clients
