Role Overview
We are seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to join our team as part of a growing team. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless operations for our business.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the complete customer order journey, from input to delivery and invoicing.
* Be transparent with customers, managing expectations and proactively addressing issues.
* Liaise with internal teams, including Technical, Planning, and Credit Control, to resolve pricing, product, or account queries.
* Monitor order dispatches and investigate delays, ensuring customers are promptly informed of any adjustments.
* Build positive relationships with hauliers to guarantee seamless deliveries.
* Handle urgent/animal welfare orders efficiently in coordination with Nutritionists and Planning.
* Attend monthly species meetings, sharing updates on key issues and wins.
* Reduce returns and rejections by ensuring accuracy from the start, as measured by monthly credit reports.
* Ensure timely and accurate invoicing within 24 hours of delivery or collection.
* Collaborate with Finance to resolve invoicing issues related to bulk deliveries and period-end reporting.
* Investigate and resolve customer credit note requests and log complaints for continuous improvement.
* Share best practices across the team to support alignment and professional development.
About you:
* Ideally, you have experience in a similar customer service role within an agricultural business.
* Excellent attention to detail and enthusiasm for customer service.
* A credible, proactive, and forward-thinking team player who thrives under pressure.
* Proficient in Excel with strong organizational and timekeeping skills.
* Proactive, able to work independently, and know when to escalate issues.
* Flexible, motivated, and committed to continuous improvement.
* Excellent communicator, capable of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
