Are you passionate about improving equipment reliability and driving operational efficiency? I am hiring for a skilled Condition Monitoring Technician to play a key role in developing and delivering a proactive maintenance strategy across a dynamic manufacturing environment.
About the Role
In this position, you'll lead and enhance condition monitoring activities across the plant, using advanced diagnostic techniques to identify potential issues before they impact production. Your work will directly contribute to reducing unplanned downtime and improving overall equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct vibration analysis surveys using specialist equipment; interpret data, identify faults, and recommend corrective actions
* Perform thermal imaging inspections and report findings
* Carry out ultrasonic testing, including thickness measurement and fault detection
* Complete visual inspections of machinery and escalate concerns appropriately
* Maintain accurate records to support audits and preventive maintenance systems
* Update maintenance databases with relevant findings and completed work
* Carry out routine health and safety audits and report any issues
* Collaborate closely with engineers and planners to ensure timely resolution of identified faults
* Support the development and continuous improvement of condition monitoring techniques and technologies
* Liaise with suppliers for spare parts and technical support
What You'll Bring:
* Experience in condition monitoring techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, and ultrasonics
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data and recommend solutions
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
* Good communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
* Familiarity with maintenance systems and audit requirements (e.g. IATF standards) is advantageous
