As a Support Worker, you'll be directly involved in day-to-day care, working alongside a skilled team of professionals to ensure our young people receive the very best support.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, compassionate, and empathetic, with the ability to build positive relationships while maintaining clear professional boundaries.
Key Responsibilities
* Support young people to build independence and life skills across practical, educational, social, emotional, and health areas.
* Maintain accurate records, write reports, log incidents, report missing young people, and keep the Manager updated on significant events.
* Deliver and review individual support plans in collaboration with young people and colleagues.
* Lead on behaviour management by applying agreed strategies and supporting young people through challenging situations.
* Work closely with staff, parents, carers, and external professionals, always demonstrating professionalism and respect.
* Provide guidance with personal finances where needed, in line with company policies.
* Promote and safeguard the health, safety, and well-being of young people at all times.
* Contribute positively to a supportive, team-focused environment, fostering strong partnerships with families and external organisations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 38 per week
