Can you help pioneer innovative battery solutions of the future?

We are recruiting for a Payroll and Benefits specialist. The role holder will be responsible for working with our payroll provider to process payroll on a monthly basis and provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running on the Payroll function.

This role will support with Payroll/Reward projects, answer Payroll queries on a daily basis and signpost information as required. As Agratas is on a scale-up journey in the UK, this role will support the delivery of payroll related and other adhoc HR projects as required.
You will also be responsible for working within our Reward & Benefits team to provide administrative support to our employee benefits schemes and ensure accurate payroll processing for these schemes.

This role will support with Reward/Payroll projects, provide general support and signpost information as required. As Agratas is on a scale-up journey in the UK, this role will support the delivery of Reward and other ad hoc HR projects as required.

This is a hybrid working role that will be based in our Coventry office. Ensure accuracy, completeness and timely provision of the monthly payroll via our payroll provider.
Gather and input monthly data including starters, leavers, sickness, overtime and expense claims.
Administer payroll compliance as required e.g. PAYE, NIC, P11D’s, Pension and Auto-enrolment.
Assist with extracting payroll information and compiling reports as required.
Manage and co-ordinate best practice processes to ensure the accurate processing of all pay related data.
Administer our employee benefits programme. Ensure employee selections are feeding through to payroll and suppliers.
Working with Finance to ensure appropriate PO cover and reporting is in place.
Experience in administering managed payroll services and payroll compliance.
Experienced in using Excel and other MS Office tools.
Knowledge of payroll processes required to administer employee benefits (salary sacrifice etc.)
Experience with outsourced payroll processing is essential

Adaptable and flexible, capable of managing multiple priorities
Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise with line managers, HR operatives and external providers
Process improvement and payroll project experience
Experience working with an outsourced payroll provider.
Knowledge of payroll platforms (iTrent, ADP etc.)
Knowledge of all cyclical payroll processes along with a thorough understanding of tax and other deductions.
