We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join a mobile engineering team operating across sites in central Scotland. This is a varied and hands-on role within a well-established organisation that values quality work, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Dayshift/Backshift position
You'll play a key role in ensuring plant performance, reliability, and availability through both planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance
* Maintain plant condition and performance to support operational schedules
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on mechanical systems
* Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues
About You
* Experience in a similar maintenance or engineering role
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Knowledge of high-speed rotating equipment
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
* Welding and fabrication skills desirable
* Comfortable using IT systems and reporting tools
* Strong awareness of health & safety practices
