Ty Hafod Limited is looking for a full time or part-time carers for a small friendly Nursing home in Cardiff.

We currently have a vacancy for a care assistant position to come and work with our great team. This is a full time role which we anticipate to be 36 hours per week, nights shifts only.

Main aims of the job
* To meet the personal needs of the residents.
* To observe and promote the resident's choice, independence, dignity, privacy, and other rights.
* To create and maintain good professional relationships with residents, their families, and friends.
* To assist in the general duties and activities of the home.
* To work alongside, and support your colleagues
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Have good judgment, problem-solving, and decision making skills
* The ability to work flexible hours to meet the business needs
* Effective timekeeping and time management
* Have a genuine interest in older people
* The ability to work effectively within a team environment
* Be willing to participate in National Vocational Training Programmes
* Passionate about delivering outstanding care to older people
* NVQ Level 2, or working towards it.
