We're looking for a motivated Business Development Officer to help secure vital funding that supports older people across Liverpool and Sefton. If you're a strong writer, confident communicator, and great at spotting opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Research and secure funding from Trusts, Foundations, Corporations and Statutory Bodies
* Write clear, compelling funding applications and proposals
* Manage relationships with new and existing funders
* Work with service teams to develop evidence‑based business cases
* Attend supporter events and represent the charity professionally
* Maintain accurate fundraising records and produce reports
* Support budget development and ensure funding compliance

* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Confidence speaking to potential funders
* Ability to research, organise, and manage multiple funding opportunities
* Experience in fundraising, bid writing, or business development is an advantage

Location: The Frances Suite, 151 Dale St Liverpool. It is anticipated that this role will involve a mix of remote working alongside some attendance at our office and sites.
35 hours (full time) 2-year fixed term contract
