Are you an experienced social worker ready to progress your career and step into a leadership role? We have a really rare opportunity for a Social Work Consultant to join our Fostering North Team. This could be the right role for you! WHAT IS INVOLVED? As a Social Work Consultant you will: Work in partnership with the Team Manager to ensure high quality and effective services are delivered to children and their foster carers in line with procedures, legislation and national guidance. Play a key role in developing, maintaining and championing expertise and driving best practice based on research evidence and professional experience. Provide constructive challenge to enhance practice, procedures and policies, promote innovation and introduce new ways of working from recognised areas of excellence. Model and facilitate reflective and evidence-based decision making. You will be joining us at a fantastic time. To apply for this role you will: Be a social worker with significant experience of work with children, young people and families including children in our care. Be a wonderful communicator with experience of nurturing other professionals.
