Are you a skilled telehandler operator looking to get in on the ground floor of a brand-new project? We are currently recruiting for a reliable driver to join a new build housing site in Sunderland for an initial short-term contract.
As this is a brand-new development, securing this initial stint is the perfect foot in the door. Doing a great job now will put you at the top of the list for long-term contract extensions as the site ramps up production and gets busier over the coming months.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating a telescopic handler safely to support the initial setup and early build stages of the site.
Unloading incoming deliveries of materials, timber, and plant equipment, ensuring safe and organized storage.
Supplying groundworkers and early-stage trades with materials efficiently.
Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and maintaining the machine to a high standard.
Working closely with the Site Manager to establish smooth site logistics from day one.
What You'll Need:
Valid CPCS or NPORS card (with the Telehandler category).
Proven experience working on new build housing sites.
Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel toe boots).
A proactive, reliable attitude-as the first operator on-site, your work ethic will set the standard.
Full UK driving licence.
