This role is for a senior business development / client development manager working with existing clients and new business opportunities.
Role Overview
The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong experience in influencing construction-based clients across various roles, including technical coordinators, project managers, and directors. The role requires attention to detail, workload prioritization, and excellent communication skills via in-person meetings, Teams, phone, and email. Project management experience is essential, as is the ability to manage high-level communication. The candidate will generate quotations and seek costings from internal and external partners to present market propositions.
Salary: Up to £65k with OTE first year £20k
Key Tasks
* Generate new business and revenue growth within existing accounts, aligning with company targets.
* Represent the company's vision through client meetings, calls, and emails.
* Manage client revenue spend and liaise with support and project delivery teams.
* Coordinate with partners for fee proposals.
* Manage sales data for reporting.
* Handle account management topics such as overdue invoices and financial disputes.
* Issue and follow up quotations and tenders to secure orders.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience with CRM systems, Excel, etc.
* Experience navigating complex construction tenders.
* Comfortable engaging with clients across various roles.
* Proven success in exceeding targets in construction sales roles.
