Maintenance Worker (Mechanical) Band 4
On a daily basis carry out multi-skilled engineering tasks that would predominately be mechanical but would include gas systems, refrigeration, electrical, drainage and basic building in any Trust premises and be exposed to occupational hazards pertaining from these elements.

* £3,000 Recruitment Premium lump sum on commencement.
* £1,500 Retention Premium (pro-rata) per annum, paid in equal monthly instalments, subject to review by the Trust.

Responsibilities
* Carry out multi-skilled engineering tasks (mechanical, gas, refrigeration, electrical, drainage, basic building).
* Work within the Estates Department to support and promote a reliable, high quality, flexible, proactive customer‑orientated service.
* Ensure a well‑maintained, clean, safe, accessible and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff.
* In mental health units act in a kind, caring and positive manner, taking a calm and sympathetic approach when faced with difficult or confrontational clients.
* Use tools and equipment in a conscientious and safe manner.
* Maintain safety and adherence to occupational hazard protocols across all Trust premises.
Qualifications
* Recognised training course in Plumbing must have been attended or currently attending.
