What impact you’ll make As a member of the Gas Power Controls Program Management Office (PMO) team, you will be responsible for leading and facilitating the execution of New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering development programs through all phases of the Gas Power product life cycle. As a key leadership position within the organization, this role is essential for effective operation through active management of project execution, risks and mitigations to meet our commitments to the business, while maintaining critical business metrics to ensure quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of our NPI deliverables. Job Description What you’ll do: Provide program management execution for assigned projects in accordance with GE Gas Power Program Managers Standard Work procedure. Create and maintain internal and external project schedules. Validate proper resource assignment and manage spending per the plan. Guide internal and external execution teams through the NPI Development Process, assuring the proper adherence to engineering policies and procedures. Coordinate activities between engineering sub-functions to ensure all project deliverables are met on time, complete, properly tested, and documented. Actively manage program risks and mitigations to avoid execution misses. Communicate program status and issues to the engineering and commercial stakeholders. Provide regular spending status and projections to the Business Operations and Quality teams. Basic Qualifications: Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering or program/project management of engineered systems. Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interface with leadership with confidence and clarity. Eligibility Requirements: Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Desired Characteristics: Knowledge of GE Power project tracking tools, processes, and practices. Engineering program graduate or advanced engineering degree. Prior experience in electronic hardware or software development. Knowledgeable of engineering, manufacturing and customer service processes. Strong organizational/ project execution skills and prior success in working with or leading cross-functional teams. Customer satisfaction mindset. Demonstrated leadership, team building, and communication skills. Highly motivated, energetic, confident, self-starting personal characteristics. Influences through others; builds direct and "behind the scenes" support for ideas. Identifies opportunities and actively pursues appropriate changes with the input and support of the team. It is a global leader in gas turbines and power plant technologies and services with the industry’s largest installed base. The base pay range for this position is 111,200.00 - 185,400.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% bonus. This posting is expected to close on 1/30/2026. Preference will be given to current Gas Power Engineering employees.
