An opportunity has arisen to join a progressive, dynamic trainingpractice in Sevenoaks located only 200metres from the train station, with staffparking on site. We are seeking a nurse colleague to join ourwell established team.
The successful candidate will be joining a strong,supportive team and will be working in modern premises with recentlyrefurbished rooms.

The position is flexible but a minimum of 20 hours per weekis required. Remuneration is competitive and dependent on experience andskills. A comprehensive induction programme will beprovided.

Job responsibilities
10. Support and advise patients in managing their own disease Identify and manage treatment plans for patients at risk of long-term conditions
11. Appropriately support patients in complex, urgent or emergency situations, and initiate emergency care as required
12. Support and encourage patients to adopt a healthy lifestyle
13. Carry out, support and advise women with regards to cervical smear tests
14. Support and advise men with health/lifestyle advice and appropriate referrals
15. Support and refer patients with mental health needs
16. Conduct new patient health checks (delivering opportunistic health promotion at the same time)
17. Carry out testing/screening, including (but not limited to): Urine testing/analysis Blood pressure measurement/monitoring
18. ECG
19. Height, weight measurement
20. Removal of sutures
21. Tissue viability assessment
22. Wound cleaning and dressing
23. Ulcer care, including Doppler assessment
24. Management of minor injuries (sprains, bruising, cuts, etc)
25. Management of skin conditions and referral where necessary
26. Implement and participate in vaccination and immunisation programmes for both adults and children, including (but not limited to): Routine immunisations Pertussis immunisation for pregnant women Flu immunisation Pneumococcal immunisation
