What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient administration support and diary management to the Area Manager. Your key tasks will include organising and prioritising tasks, managing the Area Manager's correspondence, and responding to customer and colleague queries. You will also manage the Area Manager's diary, coordinate meetings and events, and prepare reports and presentations. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate confidentiality, initiative, and strong organisational skills while adjusting your approach to meet the diverse needs of customers and colleagues. It is important that you have a thorough understanding of retail operations and processes, as well as the ability to use digital tools effectively. You will be expected to learn and develop your knowledge of the wider group and external environment relevant to the role, and actively engage with the company's values and the great place to work agenda. Overall, your role will contribute to the smooth functioning of the area administration and support the delivery of operational excellence within your area.
Who you are
As an Administration Support for the Area Manager, you are a highly organised and proactive professional who excels in providing efficient and accurate administrative support. With a strong focus on customer service and attention to detail, you take ownership of organising and facilitating the area administration, ensuring that tasks are prioritised and executed in line with objectives. Your ability to maintain confidentiality, show initiative, and demonstrate sound judgement enables you to effectively manage the Area Manager's diary, handle correspondence, and respond to queries from customers and colleagues. With your knowledge of retail operations, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently, you contribute to the smooth operation of the area and support the delivery of operational excellence.
