We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Technicians, with good communication and teamwork skills, to carry out medicines management roles on wards and departments within The Royal Oldham Hospital.

Requirements and Responsibilities:
1. Excellent organisational skills; ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure.
2. Good eye for detail, able to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and deliver high standards in a patient-focused service.
3. If you lack the experience/qualifications for a Band 5 position, you will be appointed as a Band 4 Pharmacy Technician and supported to achieve the necessary qualifications for progression.
4. Participation in a 7-day rotating working pattern, including extended hours, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
5. Gain experience in ward-based medicines management, dispensary services, clinical trials, and staff mentoring.
6. Once trained, work as part of a clinical technical service team, recording patient medication history and processing discharges at ward and dispensary levels.
