Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Planner to join our team in Warrington, United Kingdom. As a P6 Project Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our engineering projects in the water and energy sectors by developing, implementing, and monitoring project plans.
5. Develop comprehensive project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocations
6. Analyse the project requirements and create detailed work breakdown structures
7. Identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify all project requirements and agree timescales
9. Utilise planning software (preferably Primavera P6) to produce tender stage programmes
10. Conduct resource forecasting and optimisation to improve project efficiency
11. Assist in the development of project budgets and cost estimates
12. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies
13. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for planning processes
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering industry or related field
14. Strong Knowledge of NEC form of contract essential
15. Proficiency in project management software (, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6)
16. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
17. Ability to develop and manage complex project schedules
18. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
19. Experience in construction or infrastructure projects
20. Knowledge of construction methodologies and techniques
21. Understanding of project scheduling and resource allocation principles
22. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
23. Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
