Domestic Electrician – Local Work

Smart Power is looking for a qualified electrician to join our team carrying out mainly domestic electrical work across Cottingham, Hull, East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. This local role offers steady work, good office support and a business set up to make life easier for engineers.
Key Work
* EV charger installations
* Consumer unit upgrades
* Fault finding and repairs
* Kitchen electrical work
* Sockets and lighting installations
* Small installation projects
* General domestic electrical work
There may also be occasional light commercial or industrial work where needed.
Work Pattern
* Full time
* Full time over 4 days
* Part time options considered
* Steady employed work with flexibility around family, school events, appointments or general life outside work.
* Pay and package: £19—£23 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Higher rates may be considered for approved electricians.
* Permanent employed role – not subcontract work.
* 40‑hour working week.
* Mainly local work.
* Van can be arranged if required.
* Use of personal vehicle reimbursed where agreed.
* Support from the office and wider Smart Power team.
* Pay progression linked to quality, reliability and performance.

* NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
* AM2.
* 18th Edition.
* Full UK driving licence.
