MET Technician Required in Paignton
1. Basic salary of up to £40k DOE

Our client, an Accident Repair Centre is currently seeking an experienced MET (Mechanical Electrical Trim) Technician to join their Paignton workshop.

The day to day duties for the MET Technician will include:
5. Fit and strip both mechanical and body parts from vehicles including body panel, interiors, gearboxes etc. as well as minor mechanical work such as wheel alignments.
6. The MET Technician will be able to produce an extremely high quality of work in any situation and have a right-first-time approach to everything you do.
7. Reporting directly to the site Production Lead, MET’s that remove and assess any additional damage and refit to our high standards safeguarding customer satisfaction.
For this MET Technician role you must have:
8. Practical expertise in vehicle mechanical and suspension repairs
9. ATA MET certification
10. Relevant qualifications in mechanics and suspension
11. Skills in steering geometry alignment and adjustment
12. Glazing and minor panel repair capabilities
13. Proficiency in preparing and priming new or repaired panels up to the first masking stage
14. Competence in air conditioning system evacuation and recharge
15. Proficient in plastic repair work
The successful MET technician will receive:
16. Competitive hourly rate of up to £20 per hour
17. Potential £10,000 efficiency bonus, rewarded for productivity and quality
