Job Description:
* The Lead Business Analyst is responsible for elevating the effectiveness, consistency, and impact of the Business Analyst team.
* This role involves mentoring 8–10 Business Analysts, defining BA standards, improving documentation quality, and supporting cross-functional collaboration.
* The Lead BA ensures requirements are well-defined, processes are streamlined, and communication between technical and business stakeholders drives successful project outcomes.
Requirement/Must Have:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
* 7+ years of Business Analyst experience, including 3+ years leading or mentoring analysts.
* Strong understanding of requirement elicitation, documentation, and process modeling.
* Proven experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience with enterprise-level applications or multi-module systems.
* Proficiency in tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
Experience:
* Experience mentoring Business Analysts.
* Experience facilitating workshops, requirement sessions, and cross-team discussions.
* Experience translating business needs into clear documentation.
* Experience supporting projects with complex business and technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Establish and maintain consistent BA practices, templates, and documentation standards.
* Ensure high-quality requirement artifacts including BRDs, RTMs, user stories, and process flows.
* Review BA deliverables and provide constructive feedback.
* Facilitate requirement sessions and workshops.
* Act as a liaison between business and technical teams.
* Support prioritization, risk mitigation, and project alignment.
* Present updates and recommendations to leadership.
* Mentor Business Analysts and foster continuous improvement.
* Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement best practices.
* Remove roadblocks and proactively address risks.
