If you have interpersonal skills, are self-sufficient, organised, a multi-tasker, love inputting data into spreadsheets, and have experience uploading documents into databases/systems, then we want to hear from you.
The role offers a hybrid of office and home working. Initially, you would be in the office permanently for training. Once self-sufficient, you will work in the office three days a week and remotely for two days.
What you'll do
The Developer Services team reviews new development proposals and protects Wessex Water's supply and sewerage network. We pride ourselves on delivering a professional, high-quality service to our customers.
Your daily responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service via phone, letter, and email; acknowledging new applications and correspondence; maintaining accurate records in our systems; processing applications and payments; producing confined spaces permits; and scheduling CCTV and visitor appointments.
What you'll need
We seek someone who can provide great customer service, has a positive attitude, enthusiasm for learning, and confidence in making decisions based on logical judgment.
You should be a confident communicator, enjoy solving customer challenges, and be capable of absorbing and relaying information effectively. High organisation and workload prioritisation skills are essential.
While a grade C or above in English and maths is preferred, it is not mandatory. You should be IT literate, with a good understanding of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
