Maintenance Manager - Kents Hill Park Training & Conference Centre, Milton Keynes | Full-Time / Permanent£37,000 to 42000 Depending On Experience excellent benefits including healthcare, wellbeing support, 23 days\' annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, meals on duty, and more.We are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager to join Kents Hill Park, part of The Venues Collection.As Maintenance Manager you will work with the senior team to enhance the customer experience effectively through both reactive and PPM schedules in line with all statutory requirements, company policies and procedures. Department specific responsibilities • Supplying the highest possible levels of customer care and service whether in the public eye or back of house areas • To attend any departmental and training meetings as required. • To understand how the Hotel's health and safety policy affects your department and how it links in with the rest of the Hotel. • To complete daily job requests as required • To maintain Kents Hill Maintenance documentation Library to ensure inspection, maintenance and repair records are readily available for verification and audit purposes. • To lead the management of third-Party contractors to ensure operations are performed to a consistent high quality. • To ensure all service framework policies, procedures and controlled documents are up to date and implemented correctly in your area including HSE. • To be aware of all legislation that is relevant to your work and ensure that all legal requirements are met, including: licensing, Health and Safety at Work, COSHH, Environmental Health, Fire Precautions, Manual Handling, Wellbeing and Risk Assessments • To work flexibly and attend site meetings, training courses as required. • To comply with any reasonable requests made by your Line Manager. • To be fully competent in the use of all IT systems associated with your department. • To take responsibility for Profit Protection manual actions relating each department. • To ensure the department SOP is up to date and is monitored for 100% compliance. • Proactively manage the work of the team, allocating special duties and responsibilities. • Duty manager shifts ownership and responsibility of the daily job tasks • Attend any meeting as requested by the management. • To ensure effective communication between each department. • Set up meeting rooms as per guest requirements to meet company SOP. • Maintain colleague discipline and grievance procedures in accordance with our policies. • Take ownership for all Health and Safety as they arise. • Cogard Health and Safety and Duty Manager Safety Walk daily. • Maintenance & Cleanliness of the site grounds internally and externally • To support the overall goals of the business. • Assisting in all departments where business needs daily support. 2• Ambassador to our venue and brand you will lead by example, give clear instructions, and maintain good guest relations to both internal and extremal customersKents Hill Park is a dedicated training and conference centre set in a peaceful location on the outskirts of Milton Keynes, yet within easy access to key road, rail and airport networks.
