Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons to students in KS3 and KS4. Foster an inclusive classroom environment that respects and explores various religious perspectives. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback. Participate in department meetings, training sessions, and school events. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies. Requirements The successful RE Teacher will have; Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related field. Experience teaching Religious Studies at the secondary level is preferred. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship) All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
