Based in the Benefits Team between the Civic Centre, Motherwell, and working from home on our hybrid model, your responsibilities will include processing Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction claims, as well as Free School Meal and Blue Badge applications.
You should have moderate relevant administration experience and experience in dealing with the public.
Essential qualities include knowledge of Microsoft Office, good communication, literacy and numeracy skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable qualifications and experience include an IRRV Benefits Technician or equivalent, experience with Open Revenues software, processing claims, and knowledge of document image processing.
The successful candidates will undergo a basic disclosure check provided by Disclosure Scotland.
