Consultant in Paediatric Gastroenterology at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. The post is full-time, permanent, with a salary of £109,725 - £145,478 per annum.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic colleague to join our team of 6 consultants. The applicant must possess CCT or be within 6 months of completing the CCT or equivalent in Paediatric Gastroenterology and eligible for GMC sub-speciality register for Paediatric Gastroenterology.
Main Duties
The service is based in Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, which is part of the University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. The hospital provides comprehensive high-quality tertiary Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition services across the South West of England.

Qualifications & Training
* Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
* CCT or Equivalent in Paediatric Gastroenterology OR Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) at the point of interview
* Candidates can be within 6 months of gaining CCT at the date of interview.
* Full GMC specialist register of Paediatric Gastroenterology
Experience
* Evidence of thorough and broad training and experience in relevant specialty
* Ability to take responsibility and initiate management plan effectively
* Evidence of a special interest and expertise that complements those of other consultants in the department and is consistent with the Trust's service strategy
* Able to take responsibility for delivering service without direct supervision
* Experience of working in the UK
