Hours per Week: 8 to 10 hrs
Duration: Fall, Spring
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday (no weekends)
Shift times: 7:30am–3:30pm, shifts start as early as 6:30am, closing shifts end at 4pm; busy times 10:30am‑1:30pm
Position Summary
Students will work at assigned stations to produce and serve menu items in a timely and attractive manner.
Responsibilities
* Providing meals to guests.
* Present and serve menu items in a timely and attractive manner.
* Interact with customers and other team members with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
* Keep all stations and areas stocked and clean.
* Aid coworkers at other stations when possible.
* Stay occupied by stocking, cleaning, or prepping in the kitchen.
* Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
Secondary Duties
* Cleaning equipment and facilities as directed.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Food Service or Catering background helpful.
* Positive attitude, self‑motivated, flexible, and able to take direction.
* Able to work well with others and independently of supervision.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Dress Code
Clean and neat appearance at all times. Uniform: jeans, black shirt, closed‑toe shoes with socks, hat with nametag. Long hair must be tied back. Ear piercings limited to studs. No sweatpants, shorts, capris, open‑toe or heeled shoes, dangling earrings, facial piercing, necklaces, bracelets, or other jewelry.
Special Working Conditions
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Work day, evening, and weekends. Required to perform prolonged standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking on hard surfaces.
