The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Controls & Automation Proposals Engineer to join a well-established systems integration and industrial automation business in theie Sheffiled office.
Working closely with the Senior Proposals Manager, you will be responsible for developing high-quality technical proposals across a diverse range of automation solutions, from PLC and SCADA systems through to full turnkey projects.
This is a varied, client-facing role combining technical expertise, commercial awareness, and strong communication skills, ideal for someone with an engineering background looking to move into a proposals or pre-sales position. xsngvjr
Key Responsibilities
* Produce detailed technical proposals and tenders for:
* PLC & SCADA systems
* Control system upgrades and modifications
* Digital and manufacturing information systems (MIS/MES)
* Service level agreements and support contracts
* Engineering resource / manpower solutions
* Full turnkey automation projects
* Collaborate with sales teams and customers to fully understand requirements
* Define technical solutions and prepare accurate cost estimates
