A well-established and highly regarded West Yorkshire law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Legal Secretary to support a Partner within its busy Wills & Probate department in Brighouse.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, professional team where your experience and organisational skills will play a key role in supporting high-quality private client work. The role is full time, office based.
The Role
You will provide dedicated secretarial support to a Partner handling a varied caseload of:
1. Wills
2. Probate and estate administration
3. Lasting Powers of Attorney
4. Trusts and related private client matters
Your responsibilities will include:
5. Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence
6. Preparing and formatting legal documentation
7. Diary management and arranging client appointments
8. Liaising with clients in a professional and empathetic manner
9. Opening and closing files, compliance checks and general administration
10. Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the department
About You
11. Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Private Client
12. Strong typing and IT skills
13. Excellent attention to detail
14. Professional and confident communication skills
15. Well organised with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
16. A proactive and supportive team player
